New York Stock Exchange Closing Bell Ringing

On Monday, July 2, just one day after Union Pacific’s 150 Anniversary, President and CEO Jack Koraleski and 11 employees representing various crafts and locations will ring the New York Stock Exchange closing bell to mark the historic occasion.

A daily tradition that is recognized worldwide, the closing bell rings at 4 p.m. (EST) to signify the end of the trading day.

Employees participating in the event were selected from 45,000 employees systemwide in recognition of their commitment to service, safety and productivity. They include:
