In Memory of My Father

by Don Tyler

This message is in memory of my great father. He was a part of the UP family for more than 20 years, starting his career in Chicago, then going to Memphis, L.A. and finally Kansas City, Mo. He loved his job as a Railroad Special Agent. He worked with many great men and women over the years and truly was at home every time he stepped on a train.

I enjoyed hearing the stories about his days, visiting the yards and riding the trains when possible, and seeing many great places in our country as his career advanced over the years. UP was a great organization to him, my mom and me. We appreciate the great work everyone does at UP and we wish everyone the very best.

Thank You for a childhood of great memories and congrats on your first 150 years.
