Salt Lake City, UT

The transcontinental railroad has played a pivotal role in Utah’s development. Union Pacific’s creation of rail that spanned Utah from north to south and into California led to economic growth and development across the intermountain west. Today, Utah is one of the main crossroads for Union Pacific trains and continues to play an important role in Utah’s business and economic sectors.
